Trying to imagine what it would take to flip a Charger.  🤔

Dang!

That’s exactly what I was thinking

If you go to Skeet Reese’s Facebook page you can watch the video he was all of 10 seconds behind the guy when it happend.  Looks like it bow hooked as he went over some waves. Did not flip until enough water rolled it over.

Here's the video from Skeet Facebook page.

Just watched the video, glad to see the gent is ok.   Wonder how it happened without a wake boat there to cause the incident...

My guess is he had it trimmed up too high and caught a wake just right. Glad everyone is okay and skeet saw him. I used to bad about not wearing a kill switch over the years but the videos posted the last few years on here have me wearing it all the time.

Guy seemed like an A$& hat, going off his tone. Didn’t see any waves from the video, even as Skeet rolled up. Dude was just a beginner driving over his capabilities.

Dawn Bassham ClarkIt was a 96 Charger in Mint Condition. He hit a wake and it knocked his fishing poles loose. They flew up and instinct made him reach out and grab them. Then the next wake hit and the wheel jerked out of his hand to the right and threw him out. Boat is a total loss.

Thats one lucky dude in soo many ways ! Have had my share of close calls over the years especially in boats that run 70+ mph. Once as a passenger going 80+ and hit a floater. Lower unit was gone ! Scariest ride of my life. Was like riding a giant 70mph water bug till it finally stopped. Since down sizing i dont run nearly as fast (35 max) but S$$t can still happen. Two weeks ago around midnight i was heading from orleans trail back to ramp at crabtree. Almost had a head on collision with another boat. He had NO lights on !! ! wear a lifejacket and kill switch always. These things always happen when you least expect it. Glad the guy wasnt hurt. Even more respect for Skeet. Good guy.
