Negatives

I'm stuck at home with 4 women in my household lol.

Kids can drive me bonkers.

Noisy when we're all online in meetings and virtual classrooms...

Dishwasher liquid was my one supply prep I was lacking.

Miss fishing and having a beer with friends.

Canceled family vacation this year with our parents.

Miss hanging out with pops... he's high risk so being extra careful.

Positives

Great family time spent with my girls.  We always spent quite a bit of time together, now so even more...

They're learning math now the right way taught by me...

We're all exercising everyday.   I needed it and we no longer have any excuses not to do it. Gonna be shredded by the end of this lol

Saving a ton on gas and I'm not driving in traffic everyday.

I can drink beer and work!

Lots of house upgrades getting done.  Start finishing out my basement next week.

I had to cancel a trip to NOLA the first week of April but I haven't canceled the summer trips yet.  Hope springs eternal!!

My wife told me that we was both to go to the Hospital and give some blood tomorrow.

I told her it wasn’t happening.

As close as I’ve gotten to hands on projects for the house was power washing it.

I keep the bird bath full and Tuesday I started the lawn mower for my wife.  Kinda tired just recalling it.😁

that a boy!  Hopefully you wiped off the seat for her.

Now a question for all.  When these restrictions, orders, stay at home mandates, are lifted, will you resume life the way it was in January?

So far here are fishing related things that I have missed so far due to COVID.

The white perch run here in MD.

The first portion of the shad run here in MD, PA, and DC. If they keep the stay at home orders in place through May, which I suspect will likely not get another trip for shad this year.

A shore fishing trip with friends back in NC.

The ones that really hurt are the following:

Missed a March/April trip to the White and Norfork rivers with Livie and Sue. Was going to be the last chance for Livie to fish Dry run Creek before she turned 16. Will never be able to do that again with her. Maybe with my granddaughter but that is a far off wait and see proposition.

A Maryland and Delaware fishing adventure with @Ham this April.

Don't ask me how but I'm still losing weight.

Digging riding the bike again.  If the weather is not favorable, I walk.  Comfortably again and thankful for that.

Miss seeing friends and going out to eat.

Miss going to baseball games (grandkids mostly, but also Springfield Cardinals)

Miss watching sports on TV

Hate wearing a mask but do it anyway when appropriate.

Worried about our little water and sewer company as it's in Branson and lots of rental units sitting empty.

Digging baking bread again.

Digging having 1/4 beef set for pickup early next week.

Don't miss going to Wal-Mart at all

Digging having a little garden spot ready to go

Don't like worrying so much about the future.  Not normally the worrying kind but lately - yeah I worry

Don't like wasting - it feels that way - so much valuable time just killing time

But.  Surviving and being thankful for health, neighbors, family and you guys.  It helps to vent.

Edit:  Ness, you'll never know the misspelled word I corrected because I can keep a secret.

Hockey games would really be getting good this time of year.

Don't miss professional basketball at all. Kind of missed the NCAA tourney, but even that was getting so overhyped last few years.

Haven't been a big baseball fan in many years, though hope to still get a trip to see the Pirates in PNC park this year. Just to see the park and to fish the three rivers for buffalo ;).

Yes my Son owns the Barn House and he is needing to get going again at least with Baseball.
