I'm doing great, and all of my friends are doing great. Everyone in my 5 county zone seems to be doing great. Therefore whatever the POTUS has been doing....I support it....cuz it's working really good for everyone I know and care about. If your finances and your life sucks right now, and you have friends/family that have been suffering through life for the last 4 years, and it's all Trump's fault.... I'm really Sorry. Suck it up. Seriously though, how's your life? Good? Then maybe quit bitching and get on the Trump train 🤔 This is true for almost every President. As far as Presidents go, this one plays a lot of golf, the last one played basketball, the one before played war. Generally speaking that has little bearing on peoples day to day lives.

I'm doing well because of ME, and my wife, and some fairly good luck along the way. It has nothing to do with who is president. But I care a whole lot about what is going to happen in the future on a lot of different levels. I care about the world we are leaving for our children, or my case my beloved nieces and nephews. I care about the environment. I care about energy, water supply, external threats. And right now I have passed the "concerned" point and am into full blown seriously worried about the future of this country. Not just because of this virus, though I'm pretty darned concerned about the possibilities of further mutations that could bring this thing to a whole other level. No, I'm worried about what this virus has shown us about how stupid, selfish, and anti-science we are. And how polarized we have become. It's getting past the point of being polarized, and getting closer to the point of outright hatred for everybody who doesn't believe the way your side believes (no matter which side that is). I stated on a thread on Facebook the other day that I thought the people who were participating in the thread, who were complaining mightily about their governor "shutting down the state" when the whole thing was a media hoax, were being self-centered and whiny that they couldn't go get their hair cut, which several had already complained about. In response, one of them came back on with a long diatribe about how I was nothing but a libtard, and that he hoped I would lose my house, all my money, my retirement, be reduced to having to scrounge in dumpsters to keep from starving, and to finally die of some REAL horrible disease--along with all the other libtards. And he was serious. And his "friends" on the thread came back and agreed wholeheartedly with him. Folks, it ain't that far from feeling like that to taking action, when you feel that strongly. As for Trump, I had hopes. I didn't vote for him, but I hoped that as a political outsider he just might take the tack that he was the president of ALL the people, listen to all sides, and govern as a leader, not as a Republican. He could have. He could have done a lot to pull us together. He could have been the one adult in the room. But instead, he doubled down, heck, quadrupled down, on divisiveness. And before you say that the Democrats were the ones attacking him, guess what...it takes two to be divisive. Trump didn't start every fight, but he started some of them, and he responded to any perceived opposition with nuclear tweets. He became the biggest child in the room, not the responsible adult. I am not second-guessing his responses to this pandemic. He made mistakes, but who knows if anybody else would have done better. He didn't have the country prepared, but that was a problem that was a LONG time coming through multiple administrations...the experts have been warning of this for decades, but nobody took it seriously enough. However, I AM faulting him for the apparent lack of any plan at this late point on what to do from this point on. We have forgotten that we are all Americans, that we all want pretty much the same things, but disagree on how to achieve them. We have let the radicals on "our" side, whichever one it is, define what the other side is, instead of listening to the other side. We have slid down the slope of considering those who disagree with us as enemies with nefarious agendas, not as simply fellow Americans with different ideas, life experiences, and priorities. It scares me. BS, Al. 🙄 When guys like you and me die, we're worm food. And 2 weeks after we're gone, my kids, and your nieces and nephews, will have forgotten that we even existed. So really WGAF? When the "others" are gone, they'll be happily chilling in paradise with Jesus, their parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles. They will be anxious for society to crumble, and the earth to melt down, so that the ones they left behind can come to join them. So WTF are they whining about? For them, the sooner the world melts down the better. Right? Your refusal to allow yourself to live for the moment is a waste of everything you've fought through and accomplished your entire life. So knock it off. This (what you have in front of you) is all there is, and you know that.
Gavin Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Waiting to see Rome burn at this point. President is off his rocker & Congress is playing angles for the election, Media is all crazy hype, and I don't think that any of them give a darn. The leaders that be are more concerned with themselves, so we all need to put our big boy, and big girl pants on, go back to work, and deal with this stuff. Sitting in your house mole whacking is not the way to deal with this. It is not going away. Protect yourself, continue on. You get no guarantees in this life. Terrierman, fishinwrench and nomolites 3

A veritable Covid-19 Passover! How didja do it? Lambs blood on your door? Fasting and prayers? Its only a matter of scaling your success up for the rest of the country. 2) Trump Train - all aboard! Will I be required to wear a mask? You better believe I should be, because theres a good chance all these fine people will be on board . . . . Rudy, Don Jr, Eric, Mulvaney, Bolton, Hannity, Rush (wearing his presidential medal 🤣), Stormy, Cohen, Manafort, Stone, Scaramuchi, Poppadopolous, Sondland, Barr, Pompeo, Gates, Putin, a bunch of russians, a bunch of russian hookers, Sarah Sanders, Spicer, the new lying one who is dumber than a bag of hammers, assorted members of the KKK, right wing militias/nazis, who did I forget? Mitch and Wrench? Oh, and Flynn with his fresh get out of jail free card for no-big-whup-lying to the FBI. fishinwrench 1

The best argument that can be made in favor of Trump as it relates to this pandemic is that we have yet to have but maybe one or 2 countries in a worldwide pandemic that have done "well" with the response. Globally nobody has solved this thing and frankly those that have done "well" to date shouldn't wipe their brow too soon. This thing ain't over until the fat lady sings. At the end of the day pandemic are judge by two things, infections and deaths. On that level the only country that has been successful is North Korea. Plan or no plan across the globe......millions are being infected, thousands are dying. Doesn't matter who the leader is, doesn't matter what their plan is, or what their party is. By all accounts if you listen to the experts and science they are basically saying.....we don't know when we will have a vaccine or solution(historical data supports its gonna be awhile), we don't know how many people are really getting this(due to testing issues and asymptotic cases), we don't even fully understand the virus effects on human bodies(we learn more everyday). There isn't a SINGLE country that has been able to successfully answer any of those 3 questions. We have more unknowns than we can solve in this equation and no single country has been able to put together enough knows to solve this thing. wily and Johnsfolly 1 1
