Y'all and your "points" 🙄

Have you ever considered that all that talk about POINTS might be a conspiracy to keep you out there on those places, and out of the way.  😂

Is Table Rock a lake or a few dammed up rivers?  so it must have current right? Don’t fish position themselves in current?

Fish will position themselves in bait moving current.  Very seldom does TR have that type of current.  Due to the sheer size and depth, unless there are flood gates open or an influx of rain in the river systems, due to the  volume of the lake, current position for predator fish for the most part is a non-issue here.

4 units at time will get them interested but does not position the fish.  Only seems to stimulate feeding activity.

Depth is a much more predictable fish locator than current in most of the White River Impoundments.

I don't think in close to 30 yrs. of guiding here have I  heard either a guide or a top tournament fisherman ask another one what bait he caught his fish on, over a couple of dozen times..  The only question that is repeated on a daily basis multiple times a day is, How Deep are They.

Pretty much all you need to know.

Right now the majority are 26 to 50 ft. suspended with not a ton on the bottom or for that matter even relating to structure much except the bridge piers at times and then they may not be on the pier but in the shade between the piers.

Take a look at the post made by Dock it and look at the graph pictures that he so kindly provided that pretty much tells the story   Entire fishing report just on his graph photo.

Good Luck

You go march down a bank right now at table rock with a redeye shad and report back to me how well you did.  Table rock is a deep water lake and fish stack up in the summertime at 20 or 30 feet deep.  Having eyes to see that deep is an extremely valuable tool.

Nope, not all of them.  Some do, sometimes....if it benefits them.  Fish are everywhere. Show me a cove on a map, or a 100 yard stretch of bank, that has no keeper bass in it.

TR is presently 10 feet above summer power pool. That puts a TON of primetime shallow cover in the water and you better believe there are a lot of bass in it, including some big uns.

Bill is right on in saying the biggest numbers of fish are out deep. But don't stay home because someone told you shallow fishing isn't worthwhile.

Wherever there is food, cover and oxygen, there will be bass.

Why do I gotta march down a bank?  And why do I gotta throw a RedEye shad?

I would love to see a video of you hammering those oversized deep bass that are "stacked up".    Could you please capture some footage of that the next time you get out?

Just look on a Humminbird graph under a Shad ball, all stacked up just waiting for a spoon dangling in front of them. 😂

You have to use Al Lindner's voice when you say that.  😁
