Yeah, it is.   Like I was saying during the previous little contest, I had a couple of fish that I had to chase around the boat more than twice, and had them out of the water longer than I felt good about.

I just got home...the photo taking part of the process is a pia.  I know now why ole archdale appears to have a death grip on his fish.

I had fun...and it was semi-social in a Covid world.  I’ll try again next time

congratulations to the winner

Honestly I was keeping fish in my well for a club tourney, and i put Rejuvenade in there, and apparently it is like crack for fish they were so hard to hold down, if i didnt have a friend with me i couldnt have got a pic.  After reading online people say  that stuff is actually bad because it stimulates the fish instead of calms them.   So who knows what to use, Most say "please realease me" is the better stuff.

@aarchdale@coresleep.com  How did you stack up in the club derby?  What did it take to win?

I hope that fish makes new friends quickly in his new home. Hopefully ones that will show him where the nearest crawdad buffet is, and where all the hot sows like to be bedded down. 😅 Just think, tonight he's out there, lost, scared, and high/crashing on Rejuvenade.   What a bad trip. Poor guy. 😟

That looks like a cross to me...goggle eye and a pumpkin seed

but I’ve had a couple blues...

Its a male redbreast sunfish. The redbreast and green sunfish were the only aggressive fish in the creek that I was fishing. Didn't  get a chance to throw a line in the Potomac due to high number of people everywhere and low water like this spot.

Looks nice kind of like sections of lower Current river.  Need to figure out where fish would be holding. Wish that it wasn't  3 hours from house.

Well I fished from the bank and did ok but nothing impressive to show. I fished Friday evening after a true gully washer and caught 8 but nothing really worth a picture. Went out again this morning for about an hour and caught 2 that squeaked 15” plus a few smaller. It truly is a pia to take a picture like this from the bank. Had to wash it off twice after flopping around in the dirt lol. Congrats to aarchdale and everyone else that braved the heat and participated!  So I also caught what I thought was a goggle eye but now think was a warmouth. May try one last time this evening but wanted to get something posted.

Not a legal entry since I didn't photograph the fish with 733. Also I didn't photo my authentication of my unusually large hands which are easily 24 inches long making this fish easily 20 inches in length 🤣.

Nothing to show for me.  I stayed out as long as I could on LOZ in my Tracker before the ocean sized waves forced me off the water. Caught two about the size JohnsFolly caught and that’s it.
