Some of those thinks just look nasty.  The critter craw is the smallest one that I have ever used.

I used to fish the Standing Yabbies from River to Sea all the time on creeks and small rivers.  They were killer.  But the blue gills would pick their eyes out and then the pinchers.  They have a great action, but are formed on a jig head.  They would not work for the original poster.

Before I made my own, I loved to use those Yamamoto fat baby craw as a trailer to my Hair jigs, or an Eakins finesse jig. It’s hard to find a good craw that’s only 2” long

So anyone fish a tube as a trailer on a jig?  Anyway, TW has a sale on these dudes, the little 2.5" looks interesting, wonder how it would work on a little jig?  Might be worth a shot (the little one) on a shroom head too.

I’ve heard of it but not done it.  I’ve also heard of rigging a tube backwards but haven’t tried that either.   I have put one of my versions of a slab buster inside of a tube, just dinking around until my wife caught a 6.5# green fish on it.

Back in the 80s when tubes were "new", yep. About anything can work on the back of a jig, if the size and profile are more or less right.

Here is the smallest thing I could find in my limited arsenal. These are Old creek plastics that I have never used. If these are the size your interested in, you are more than welcome to Have them all. I will Never use them!20210130_123327.jpg20210130_123402.jpg
