merc1997 Bo Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 with the lake not dropping, and water temps not really on the rise, it could be some great fishing during the day. there will be many ways to skin the cat, but i could put a rod with a jig on the deck and that is it. i like simple fishing. bo Hunter53, snagged in outlet 3, *T* and 3 others 6
Bill Babler Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 Jig and a buzz bait might be the deal. There were some nice fish caught in the derby this last weekend on that pair. magicwormman, dtrs5kprs and Hunter53 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Glad we left the boat at home! Was a little sad we didn't have it for the window of decent albeit windy weather Saturday afternoon, but yesterday made me real glad. I was a drowned rat just getting the truck loaded from checking out of our room. So I'll take all of Vernon's blame! vernon, magicwormman and snagged in outlet 3 3
Bill Babler Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 Lake is approaching 919.7 after this weekend's rain. We had dropped back to 919.35 so I'm guessing with Beaver dam running and the rain it may get to 920. Slight chance of rain tomorrow, but then dry for the next three days. Weekend into next week looks like it may be another rain event. I know my hay raising buddies are loving it as their fields look beautiful, and they all know the heat will come to make it grow. dtrs5kprs, magicwormman and big c 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 looks like they have really reduced the flow out of Beaver. I hope the extended forecast is wrong, if not, ugh... magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2

Quillback Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 NWS long term. Might want to stock up on sandbags and get the ark project going again. Dry weather is expected through the remainder of the work week as high pressure prevails. The chances of shower and thunderstorms return late Friday night and continue into next week as a more unsettled weather pattern returns. Heavy rainfall will be a concern during this period of unsettled weather. 2 to 4 inches of rain will be common with locally higher amounts possible. Strong to severe storms will also be possible during this time. dtrs5kprs and crazy4fishin 2
