I have to check out that Catholic Church ️. Great pics

After we got home I was reading up on it a bit. It seems the defrocked bishop of Washington DC, who was also a Cardinal, but is now just Mr. McCarrick, has been exiled to the friary next to this church. Also happens to be next to an elementary school. Apparently the locals were a little steamed when they found out 😄

Hopefully he doesn’t try to start a new Catholic school for Pale young boys 😂

I enjoyed this.  It is odd how a vacation is a combination of amazing things done by happenstance and disappointments because of lack of planning.  It looks like you had quite a few of the former.

Thanks everyone. It was a good trip with a nice balance of down time and doing/seeing things.

The fishing was a blast and the guide did a great job. He spent most of his time with Kathy as I requested, but he’d hustle over and net a fish every time I caught one. Good kid. Shane at Land of Enchantment Fly Fishing

Saw lots of cool stuff, though some things were still closed.

Food was hit-and-miss. We had some pretty bad New Mexican food, and a little good. Had a great meal in Hays, KS.

Had agave wine margaritas at a couple places. Delicious and less strong and tart than a regular margarita. Gonna try those at home soon. Also did a couple shots of mezcal along the way, my first since college. Didn’t eat the worm this time either😄

Awesome photos and trip! Santa Fe is such a cool city. Went there while I was working in NM. Top 3 cities I've been to.

Land of Enchantment fly fishing--funny, people in Albuquerque call the city the Land of Entrapment because folks get their car stolen so often.
