And you can’t find a good job??   You should be able too.  Gotta be demand for someone like you.

I have a good job, and wouldn't have any trouble finding one in my trade. I'm just not so sure that I want to continue down this road.

A lot of that is the "grass is greener" sort of stuff. I'm still trying to figure it out, and learning a lot in the process.

Good luck.

These old Snappers are a marvel of engineering.   I just love them.

The wet grass thing truly IS a THING, but your not supposed to cut wet grass anyway, so.....

I learned a long time ago why that grass is greener on the other side of the fence.  It's all the B.S. over there.

I think mine needs a transmission rebuild.  It can be a little reluctant to get going.  Gonna see what Jeff Bezos can do for me.

I'm a mechanic now.  Put a new water pump impeller in my 9.9 Yamaha just the other day.  Jeff Bezos and youtube are pretty good resources.

No worries wrenchy, the yamahammer is a 2 stroke.

Unless you want to send it into orbit I'm not sure he'll be much help.

So.  Forrest got a new drive wheel yesterday, blade sharpened and changed the air in all the tires.  Wow, talk about a new lease on life!

Pro tip:  When sharpening lawnmower blades, avoid contacting grinder wheel with your knuckle, even for a very short period of time.🥵

Back around '73, Dad bought a Snapper knock-off (Ahrends?) that used that rubber drive disk. I soon learned that if I mowed straight up the short hill out by the road ditch, clutched it and rolled back down, then dumped the clutch it would pull a decent wheelie. Had to quit that after Dad replaced the drive disk twice...

I can't dance like I used to.
