I was just defending my home river. I was mentioning what I saw. Sorry it upset you. It’s commendable that you are defending your river because the Amish sure as hell aren’t. fishinwrench 1

It isn't the Amish that are doing damage or causing problems. What's needed on SOME STREAMS is decent caring fishermen that aren't afraid to stand up and help keep an eye on things. There might be a few bad apples on here, but they can't be any worse than the ones already on the river in question. So I’ve only fished below Leadmine 2 times in my life. Once with GreasyB on this forum on an overnight trip and once with a friend, both times with a jet boat. So I can’t agree or disagree with you, I can only give you my personal observations. There were numerous Amish right at the Leadmine access one the second trip. They were playing in the water, canoeing and just kind of having fun. Both trips I encountered them fishing below Leadmine, they were wading on the top side of a riffle in waist deep water and the stringers had fish on them. The stringers were basically floating on the top of the water and dangling in the current. I also noticed a couple of local guys who seemed to befriend the Amish. These 2 kids were probably late teens/early twenties and also had stringers of undersized smallmouth, like 12” fish. I knew there was no point of even saying anything to them. They drove a truck and pulled right up to the riverbank. But like I said, they seemed to befriend the local Amish guys. That’s all I’ve got but I saw it with my own eyes. fishinwrench, snagged in outlet 3 and nomolites 3 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Gavin Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Kill Everthing, No Season, No Limit seems to be human nature. It just is. The smallmouth fishing up north is good because square heads would rather poach walleye. Greasy B and jfrith 2

And they get PAID to. You'd think they would be on "our" side and try to eliminate the technical harassment by the Niangua cattle co. And you'd also think they would police the illegal gigging, or at least attempt to. These are things that are truly going on, and have been for years. But the only enforcement of rules and laws that gets any attention is folks on vacation smoking a joint. They aren't gonna let that harmless infraction slide. jfrith, MOstreamer and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
Mitch f Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 There are only 2 reasons that I can think of for @fishinwrench defending the Amish…. 1. Wrench has found a new “Road to Damascus” and has found God and wants to join the Amish community in his new found belief. 2. He digs Amish chicks! I’m going with #2 😂😂😂 Hog Wally, jig&pig, Gavin and 4 others 1 6 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

I’m going with #2 😂😂😂 I used to deliver foam and plastic products to grocery stores, and had quite a crush on a certain Amish chick at a certain Save-a-Lot that really liked me. She was pretty as hell and had a voice that would just make your heart melt. I was so focused on her pretty face and curves that my eyes never made it past her hips.....Until one day she stepped around the counter and I noticed that her FEET WERE HUGE ! 😳 No, I mean like a size 12. Clown feet huge. Killed it for me 🥺 I'm not a "foot guy"at all.....but there's no way I could ever get over that. mixermarkb, MOstreamer and Carl1969 3
