aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I went to the X games in Aspen a few years ago, It is pretty awesome. Expensive though, I ordered a double Rum and coke at a restaurant and it was $37, so that was my dinner for the night. tho1mas, ness and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 1
MrGiggles Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Went to Denver in January 2019. I'm not really a city person but it was fun nonetheless. Rented some snowmobiles and rode around the mountains in Winter Park. Good times. It is definitely expensive.. If I remember right dinner for two at a steakhouse was well over $100, no alcohol either. -Austin
Dutch Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I love Colorado. It is prettier than Wyoming and Montana to me. We go there a lot. The Amtrack across the Rockys is great. You should drive the Million Dollar highway from Silverton to Uray. It is a beautiful drive even a bit scary in places but worth every minute.

And yes, it's quite something. Like Switzerland.
ness Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 We love Colorado. Many family vacations and fishing trips have been there. We spent a few days in Snowmass this summer, which is a short drive from Aspen. We spent a couple hours in Aspen, and that was enough. Stopped in a shop that had western wear and other stuff. I was needling my wife that she should get some boots. Picked up the most hideous pair I saw and turned them over to see the price. $800, and the soles were worn. Everywhere we went I noticed girls with boob jobs and Botox lips. Not our thing at all. So @oneshot, where are you going? John
fshndoug Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I'd go to Colorado to see those girls ,none in the Wal Marts around here. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
