I'm finding more and more I need to upgrade my wade fishing net.

What does everyone use/recommend? Nearly every guide trip I have been on used a fishpond. They are sweet but price is high. Is there anything more bang for your buck?

Currently I'm using the cheapy standard issue wood frame net maybe 16" x 9-10" opening. Looking for larger opening for bigger fish, deeper would be nice. Not overly concerned with weight.

Have considered buying Nomad net and DIY wooden frame.

Optimistic fishermen are the best fishermen.

I found one, perfect size/perfect shape about 10 years ago at Fort Bennett for less than 30.00 and it has served me well.  It'll handle 24 inchers.

I keep thinking that I owe it to myself to own a fancy 200.00 landing net.....but I just can't get myself to do it.

I have a custom one my dad had made for me.   It’s never been wet.

Bring it to Jig Fest! lets put a hog in the basket... Break it in proper!

I’d like to but in addition to all the holiday engagements my youngest is graduating from  Missouri S and T on December 18th.   We just can’t be more proud and excited.  BS in engineering management.   She already has a full time gig at Spectrum in software development.

Congratulations to her and her parents!
