Snagged, I'm not a virologist or immunologist, but you're not being honest in this discussion. The flu mutates enough that they best years' dose doesn't cover all strains or provided 100% immunity. How long have we searched for a "cure" to the common cold, which is also a corona virus, without even a vaccine let alone something better than Dimetapp. The data shows and non-government experts show that the vaccine is both safe and effective and preventing severe disease. The people who participated in that forum are not experts and are spreading propaganda and misinformation. Only they can tell you why.

The flu "vaccine" is effective if they chose the correct strain at the beginning of the season.   So are other DNA based vaccines.  I'm not defending the people on that forum.  I'm pointing out why some people are vaccine hesitant, and why the discussion about these experimental drugs should be allowed.  Not only allowed but encouraged.  That is the basis of scientific research.

They said it would stop the spread.  It didn't.  The say it's safe and effective but they had to be made by law to release data on the drug.   Technically we can't say they are safe because we have no long term data.  So technically anyone says they are "safe" is spreading misinformation.  What if they are wrong?  Vioxx killed 60,000 people while the drug company knew and covered up details in the data about that.

We still don't know the risk we accepting when we get these shots.  Because even the CDC admitted they didn't discern in the data between "with" Covid 19 or "from" Covid 19.

You don't think any of that would give someone cause to be hesitant?

All I know is that everyone around here either smokes dope, smokes cigs or cigars, and sips whiskey pretty regularly.  .

No serious life threatening Covid illnesses nearby that I'm aware of. 🤷‍♂️

My buddy drinks and smokes heavily. Said Covid would be bold to infect him. He's had it twice and each time he drank portion of Everclear and smoked a pack and he never had any symptoms..

I will pass on the cigarette smoke, but I am in for a test group on whiskey.

That'll never work.  If you take a shot every 30 minutes then you'll pass out before noon.   Ya gotta have something to kill the microbes in between cleanses.

I'm only good for 4-5 shots per day.  Any more than that and I'm useless.  Total lightweight.

Well yeah, it just makes sense 👍

The germ has to get in you and make it's way to your organs while it's still alive.   Kill the little bastard before he can get anywhere.....and your good.    Doesn't take rocket science to figure that out ! 😁

Polio isn't airborne

Unless your government lied to us again, neither is Covid-19. They said it has to be spat (reason for masks) or wiped on with hands (reason for hand cleansers). CDC emphasized that this virus is not airborne. (reason why they initially said masks weren't useful)

If I can space 6 or so shots over the course if a day, with some fried fish and taters in between I might make it till dark.

From what I understand covid is not truly airborne it does transmit through fine particles created by breathing, sneezing and coughing.  There will be entire careers built on the studying of the vaccines and their effects over the next 30 years.
