Bill Babler Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Surface Temps are not yet 50. Cricket most likely low 40's. Probably by next week we will be there with 70 degree weather coming later this week and a few 50 degree nights. magicwormman and buzzbaitr 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

I didn't know you could even throw anything but a 1/16 Ned rig on table rock! Mind blown for sure. 😊. So back to my initial question any idea of the water temp down at cricket? Is it worth me going all the way down there? Like water temp in the mid 50s? Or should I just hang out on the main lake? Definitely not going to be in the mid 50’s , cape fair was 46 today . I would assume cricket creek is comparable. snagged in outlet 3 1
Dutch Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 I saw more 43 and 44° temps today at Cape Fair and only one 46° but different brands register differently.
Dutch Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 We could all do that from home with the Channel 10 bow tie guy and more info from wrench. Champ188, vernon and Nick Adams 2 1

I was at my condo and that guy came on for the weather. I thought it was a joke or parody or something. I couldn’t look away after I realized he was really the weather guy. 😂

Were you not paying attention, or did you think I was just talking BS ?

For example, the next 3 days highs average around 74 and the lows around 45 so that equals 119 divided by 2 equals 59.5. Do you really think the water temp will be 59 by Friday afternoon? Not trying to be smart, like I said, I am no expert.

But you won't.....so NO you will not have 59° stream surface temp by Friday. Just because it gets up to 74° for 1 hour each day does not make your average high 74° What you can expect however (according to the WeatherBug app and my calculations for your region) is 48.5° (give or take a degree or two) surface temp. Please check it Friday and let me know if I'm wrong. Thx 🙂

Or whatever it is. 48.5 sounds pretty close though. Thanks for trying to help, but I may be beyond it. Guess i will just have to go catch fish without knowing if the creeks are a lot warmer than the main lake on Friday. I hope everyone catches some this beautiful week! bfishn, Quillback and snagged in outlet 3 3
