Every weekend and I mean every weekend there are multiple large tournaments here. The problem is they never go home. Lots of folks stay after the derby and lots come and stay the week prefishing for the next weeks derby.

Ramps start getting busy 1 hr. Prior to daylight and it never stops.

Buster has been guiding Bull Shoals all Spring and says he sees very, very little fishing pressure and really no big or sport boats.

Said thus far he is having one of the best Springs of his 20 plus year career. Fishing is fantastic no matter what species your looking for and you can fish where you want.

Sounds like a plan.

Shhhh.

Repeat after me- Bull Shoals is fishing tough, and the roads around it are terrible! It’s just not worth driving 160 or 125 to get to a lake that’s always flooded and has no fish.

stop.

talking.

about.

bull.

shoals.

Buster Loving is "having the best white bass year" of his life.  He keeps sending me pics of 5 pounders he's catching on stick baits - for 2 weeks now.  Tony W said he's waiting on them to run up in the fields below the 76 bridge.  I'm for that!!  Topwater action.

I’ve been telling my buddies Bull is the place to go for a couple years now. We used to go there every year but a friend has a house at the Rock and it’s just more convenient to grocery shop and grab a cocktail at Table Rock. After this trip I may drive a little farther and say the hell with all the “conveniences”

It's just nuts anymore, Bill. The Tyson derby guys were already coming in today. Not picking on them, but it's just the next man up, basically. I hope it's not another Truman and KC situation setting up.

It was busy years ago when CPA, Heartland, Midwest Outdoor, etc were all hopping. But there were a lot more places to stay.

Only things keeping me from Bull is the recent history of the Corps filling it up to unusable levels, and not having a good handle on the resort situation.
