Several weeks ago I posted about deciding to begin fly fishing warm water while wet wading. I received much valuable advice about buying and setting up a "first" rod.

In the mail today I received a box from Billethead  (Marty). He sent me a starter fly kit. Included were his famous clousers. Check out the picture! This is more than a starter.

Thank you Marty!

BTW, my wife hoped it was honey. Message me so we can buy more, please.

You are welcome man!  Those others will catch well also and should be easy to throw on that new rod.

Nice job Marty!

I have to grab some hooks tomorrow and then I can finish up my stuff and get it in the mail. Looks like Marty has subsurface covered, which is great because I’ve got the top covered like a mutha.

You know, I really thought I had this bass stuff all simplified. I was wrong. Obviously I have some serious issues about topwater flies. None of my ideas make any sense but I can’t stop. Now where are my air brushes ……..

RPS I hope you are still being patient with me. Had to wait on air brush parts. Been so long I have to get new paint tomorrow. And after a third trip to the fly shop we will be good to go. I’ll have all I can in the mail on Monday. Good thing I’ve been slow because I ran across the popper heads I was looking for today at Bass Pro. Then this happened.

I think those pond bass will be very fond of it.
