7 bass boats into Clevenger by 6 am.  2 left and 1 more came in by 6:15.   I haven’t seen 7 boats all week.   Is there a tournament or is this just all the guides out of BC?   They all came up from the south.

I would guess it is people coming in for the weekend.    No big tourneys that I am aware of.

30 boat derby out of Mill Creek starting tome 07:30 is all close listing.

 

My guess is holiday traffic…why I choose to stay home.

6 boats in our little cove sw of Indian point as I type this. They are all beating the banks. And we are sitting in deep water all alone catching them.

The west side of the island inside Clevenger has been a regular stop all morning.

I will be launching out of State Park tomorrow morning. I am planning on launching at 530am though. So hopefully, won't be busy. Plan to fish until about 1pm or so...if that late.

Launched off H Hwy this morning at 4:38. I was 3 rd.  Only about 15 rigs when I got back to the ramp. 

Guided the lower James today 21 fish 6 keeps nothing big. All on a Ftball jig

I’m trying to🤗 I still have a few trips in the books and some obligations to previous sponsors. 

I also have some guys here on the forum I’ve been putting off that I need to get out there, that I just love fishing with. 

It’s pretty tough right now with the gas. Just pull the boat to the ramp, fish and put it up and you have spent over $100.00. 

Last week I did have a couple of days of the best topwater I’ve had in years. Stayed up for over 3 hours 2 days in a row.

Bill, Gotta love that topwater bite. I guess you are easing into retirement which is ok because everyone needs a reason to get out of bed each day.
