snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Got out today Monday 6/6 for 3 hours for an early lunch break. Lots of stockers and then they cranked it up from 100 mwh to 150. It got all trashy so I left. Nothing picture worthy. Terrierman, Johnsfolly, dpitt and 1 other 4
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 7, 2022 Root Admin Posted June 7, 2022 Yes it did. Lots of algae kicked up. Those trout eat the stuff too. Moss green jigs! dpitt, Ryan Miloshewski, Daryk Campbell Sr and 3 others 6

I have seen them snub a perfectly matched caddis dry during a hatch of the same to nail a cigarette butt. It's because they dig on the bottom to eat scuds. Most research says they are not eating the moss, but the bugs in the moss. Moss is just collateral damage. They aren't capable of processing plants, like most animals outside of cervids. Evolution is cool.. Evolution is cool.. I used to think the same thing but I've seen big rainbows eat a gob of algae floating by... Shane Bush told me they eat it and do get some nutrition value from it. Terrierman 1

snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 7, 2022 Author Posted June 7, 2022 Got out this morning at 5:30. Heavy fog and it felt like a big fish day. Fished for 2 hours. Nothing, nada. I think I finally wore out my spot. I hit a backup I’ve had luck at before. Nothing. I’ll get out and try and find some new ones. Keep in mind I’m looking for big browns not stockers. Might go catch some stockers just to feel better about myself. 😆 JestersHK, Johnsfolly, FishnDave and 7 others 10

I refer to that as stupid fishing. After missing on all of thos sculpin, just needed a spot to catch those stupid fish to get that mojo back. JestersHK, Daryk Campbell Sr, FishnDave and 1 other 4
