What would you do? Your well armed neighbor doesn’t need anything when he can take yours…big city folks will be desperate plastic money is worthless if you can’t access it…can’t google what that mushroom or plant is..pretty quick you find out dandelion and Rollie pollies and a stray cricket isn’t enough to offset the calories you expend vs what your body needs…soon too weak your a casualty….worse you let your family become casualties…..if you kill a deer the most nutritious part is in bone marrow…familiar critters will get gone fas as the trout at roaring river during the shut down….

I'm a moderate prepper.  Power station, solar panels, 6 month supply of some nasty food, first aid kits, assorted radios, backstocked batteries, emergency toilet, extra propane tanks, extra wood, lots of guns and ammo.  I casually checked with the neighbors and apparently I am the only armed member of the cul de sac.  So their stuff is mine.😁   Carry on.

Pretty competent fisherman and hunter. Process my own.We are better armed than our neighbors. Besides there might be room for a couple of them on the menu🤔

Me too but I'm in the burbs. But my yard is loaded with road goats, rabbits and skirrels.  Mo River bottom is about a mile from the house.  We do and have kept all of our food staples including meat well back-stocked since the pandemic started.  Basement full of canned chicken and tuna.  Freezer is always updated weekly from Costco.  Keep the cars gassed up.  It's not be all end all but it's what we have done.  Most of all....   Try not to focus on it and stress ourselves out.

One thing many overlook is prescription drugs.  If you need them to stay alive you should stock up.  Oh!   And a bunch of CASH!

I wanted to be a pepper at one point but darn it was gonna be expensive.  Think what I really wanted was an underground man cave and a reason to buy some more stuff.  If I cant get meds I am just gonna have to die.  Cant everybody survive the apocalypse.

You couldn't be more confused.  Society, AND RELATIONSHIPS, would be  much better if everyone spoke their mind instead of putting on, and maintaining, a facade.  

I can admit defeat as soon as I TRULY FEEL that I have been defeated. Or when the will to win has vanished for one reason or another.   

She can leave anytime she wants to.  🙂
