Buddy you'll be in my prayers my friend.   You got my number if there is anything you need. Hope you have a safe speedy recovery,  and I'll push or carry ya around come jig fest if I need to,  to get ya back fishing brother.

And I believe that.  Day by day,  I've already been told it gets worse before it gets better.  But on a good note,  no crosses were needed on the side of the road.

Thank you all.  I would be lying if I said I haven't been emotional.   I  just need a place to vent last night.

Venting is a good thing needed from time to time to release stress and pressure.  Think Pressure cooker buddy. We don't need anyone blowing up or exploding.

Wow glad yer okay but, I would be pisses beyond believe if someone did that to me for no good reason. She is liable and let’s hope she has insurance and I would be suing if it were me because swerving into oncoming traffic on a Two lane road at the chance a deer might jump out is complete BS. This is a perfect example of what’s wrong with our society.

Glad yer okay but, you are dang lucky she didn’t kill both of you for the chance to not hit a deer.

She has insurance with a standard company.  I have enough UIM if hers would be exhausted.   I don't know all of the details,  only my side.   I do appreciate your sentiment.

Ow!  That sucks; I hope you all heal fast and well.  Once you get there, pay attention to what the physical therapists tell you and follow the directions for doing the exercises at home.  The more therapy you do, the better life will be after you return to "normal".

I almost had a head on collision 2 weeks ago on T between 13hwy and 83 by Gerster.A guy in a white pickup was across the center line in my lane. I hit the brakes soon enough to slow me down till he pulled back into his own lane. I am glad I always pay attention on that road that is at least 3 close calls in a 40 year period on that road. I guess I need to stay off it. I was doing 50 plus mph at the time.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well had surgery #3 today,  still numb from the nerve blocker.  If I was to say it's not a struggle,  I would be lying.  My wife has been extremely helpful and positive.   She is more than I deserve.  But I have no intention of letting her go.  Still unable to walk at this time, but it is temporary.    I am expecting to be able to walk.  Not really sure of a time frame.   Multiple answers coming from multiple people, as is normal with most anything.

Thanks again everyone.
