Sure is slow on the Board lately.

Not many post on any of the forums and let not talk about the lakes post. I guess everyone is just sitting at home like me. I would be fishing except, the wife had hip replacement surgery and I am doing all the stuff around here. And also had to pass on a trip that I had planned 6 months ago and was already paid for.

How long are these hips painful.

Have not fished much lately on the big lakes, September is a month that is tough for me, plus I have had a lot of stuff to do around the house.  Looking forward to November as far as fishing.

Have not had a hip replacement myself, but had a knee replacement.  Seems to be a wide range of pain experienced on replacement surgeries, if it seems to be a lot you certainly should talk to the docs or the therapy folks.

Like Quillback, I haven't gone out too much.  Partly because I don't really like to fish deep as not my favorite style of fishing.

My mom (89 yo) just had her hip replaced 2 weeks ago.  They put her in short term rehab facility because my 90 y.o. father couldn't really help her.   She goes home this week but really no pain to speak of.   She is doing PT and ot in the facility so that probably helps.    I have a knee replacement in future, but trying to push that off a few years.

Will probably get back on water later this week

Now listen.   You walk in there and tell her to suck it up!    You need to go fishing and that’s that!    😂.
Just kidding.  I hope she heals quickly.  I’ll post a report here shortly.  With pictures 😁

One of my friends had it.  He said he never had any pain and was back in the boat fishing in less than a month.

Any reports that I could put up would just be repeats of past ones.

Kinda like a Lilley's OneCast.....Throwing the same ol'things in the same ol' places, and catching the same ol' fish. 😉

Plenty of fun for me....but repetitive and boring to those listening to me talk about it. 😅

I agree!  I should start doing OC on Table Rock.  But then I'd bomb there too.

I personally enjoy the ones out of the boat or when you fish the shallow water. IDK how practical it is to set up a tripod in the rebar riffle, but those videos are the best in my opinion.

My lack of reports this year have been a result of a lack of good fishing opportunities this year.  Lots of time on the farm next to the dead holes of Clearwater Lake and Wappappello.  Low waters on 11 pt and Current River.  Nasty water on the Black River.  Low river waters on the TN rivers also and the Lakes have not been generating there either and producing current for the tailwaters or lake.  Just still water all over.  And hot.
