Lots of time on the farm next to the dead holes of Clearwater Lake and Wappappello. Low waters on 11 pt and Current River. Nasty water on the Black River. Low river waters on the TN rivers also and the Lakes have not been generating there either and producing current for the tailwaters or lake. Just still water all over. And hot. Same here JD. We are still in the severe drought zone here. Hot to boot on top of that. I am so ready to go into the El Nino system. I went to a place yesterday in the middle zone. A small pond in the river bottoms. It was low last year but managed a few ducks on the opener. It is dry now. No opener for us. I am really beginning to get cranky. Just had a small front come through and cells all around. We did not get squat. More this afternoon and tonight in the forecast. We will see. If and if we turn the corner with El Nino and it rains, I will not complain. If anyone catches me complaining about too much rain you all can find me and kick me in the arse. grizwilson, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 1 2 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" MrGiggles Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I've been feeling bored and a little burned about with fishing. Felt like I needed to take a break and refocus for a little while, I have only been out a handful of times this summer. Anyone else ever feel that way? I've also been reconsidering my boat setup. The Fourstroke is just too heavy. It doesn't tow that well anymore (especially with a full livewell), and my transom brace is starting to crack. Whether that means a repower, or swapping boats, I'm not sure yet. nomolites and snagged in outlet 3 2 -Austin

LOW is an understatement

As soon as labor day weekend was over the dingleberries at Ameren pulled the plug on my pond and pulled it down 3 feet. Why they do what they do is a mystery, and really screws up the Fall flats fishing. This will be the 3rd straight year that they've done this. I wish it would rain SO MUCH that they couldn't screw things up. When Union Electric was in control they NEVER did this. Ever. 🤬 trythisonemv, BilletHead and grizwilson 3

Terrierman Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I've had both knees and both hips replaced. Hips didn't give me much trouble at all. Hardest part was to remember what I wasn't supposed to do. Knees were different - required a lot of PT and rehab to get back to normal - but they did. I'm pain free now in those parts. Wish I could say the same for my shoulders. So, I think she's faking you out. Next time she's taking a nap, try hollering FIRE! FIRE! and see how she handles that. You can feel free to ask for more relationship advice anytime. grizwilson, trythisonemv, bfishn and 1 other 1 3

Not many post on any of the forums and let not talk about the lakes post. I guess everyone is just sitting at home like me. I would be fishing except, the wife had hip replacement surgery and I am doing all the stuff around here. And also had to pass on a trip that I had planned 6 months ago and was already paid for. How long are these hips painful. Was just thinking the same thing... quiet. So I went fishing lol 😂 and it was great so I reported it Daryk Campbell Sr 1
