Saw my first yesterday in Festus.   Been hearing some, but I couldn't swear it's any different than normal.

They are here now in force, the shells are everywhere and the trolling is getting louder.  I have 2 Border Collies, one of them has decided that they are tasty little snacks both crunchy and squishy.  The other looks at her like she has lost her mind.  I doubt that it will hurt the population any.

The hatch has picked up tremendously here in St Louis in the past few days.

I can hear them singing off in the distance, but there were none on my property until a guy came pulling a boat in that had about 20 of them crawling around in it.   They hang onto carpet really well. 

I ain't cleaning them out so....... 😉

I’m at Tablerock in Hollister and not a peep.  Still none at home either.  HOA.  I’m telling ya, they are powerful!
