What a difference from yesterday to today.  One side of the backyard, almost none.  The other side, directly under several tall silver maples -- many thousands of them.  Fence was covered.  Dog was trying to eat them.

Amazing how long it takes them to cure out.  Even once they get colored up, still soft like molted crawdads for several hours.

I haven't seen any of them yet, however I can hear them.  A very quiet hum that is a different tone than normal ones.
