As stated in the topic, please quite asking me for my license!!  Last year I got asked and then just this Sunday I got asked again to show it. In the last 15-20 years I have now been asked to show my fishing license over a dozen times. 3 times at Capps no less. I must really look like a felon to these guys. I was just down there scouting for this weekend's trip on Sunday and barely got out of the car when he pulled up. In other news, poor Capps has seen better days. The last floods that came through really changed the dynamics of the creek. Lots of deep holes have been filled in with gravel now. That, and there are lots of downed trees everywhere. I tried going down on the lower end and it was just a struggle to get through the woods to the creek!

Deer season REALLY brings them out. 🙄

I never see one any other time of the year. Wonder why that is ?  🤔

The one patrolling this area is a Dog Handler, and has a German shepherd partner.  Not sure that I can understand that deal.  Nice truck and shoes too.....looks like he keeps them both well polished.

They are just doing their job.  I bet most of the bank dwellers fishing the Jackson County lakes do not have a license.  I wish the MDC would have a greater presence up here.

I agree.  Seems like a non-issue to me.

everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

I've been checked twice in AR and I think 4 times in MO.  Have not had any issues.   Talked to a MO warden a couple of years ago in the spring and he said they were focused on walleye poachers at that time.  Table Rock.

I do too, it's just the fact I have been asked for mine more times than probably most people on here.

We used to checked pretty regularly. Maybe not a dozen times.

We would get checked during the catch and keep portions if the urban trout fishing in Columbia. At least five years running while we lived there. We got checked at least three times the last few years during crappie spawn at Little Dixie lake. Was checked twice down at the Current over the years.

But I used to always get pulled aside and patted down by TSA. Hasn't happened over the last eight to ten years. Must not be as attractive as I once was when I was younger😉😂
