Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I'm breaking the ice with 3d printing. Ive had one for about 3 months. Its an Ender 3 V2, it was given to us by a neighbor. Its pretty much new. I've printed some goofy gadgets, and some simple wood working tools. Ive found some things to print fishing related and was curious if anyone here has any suggestions on worthy print items. Im currently printing a wire bender to bend wires to make rooster tail type spinners. I have done it with jewelery pliers and seen models for sale, but I like tinkering. Also, I'm building a fly tying table from the same wood I built my canoe. Updates on that soon. Johnsfolly, snagged in outlet 3, Flysmallie and 2 others 5 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
fishinwrench Posted February 16 Posted February 16 My wife's friend has gotten into it, she made me this cool phone prop thingy so I can set and watch YT videos all night. kjackson, snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4

Flysmallie Posted February 16 Posted February 16 It's on the list. I've been close to purchasing one but I have no real reason to have one, but like you, I enjoy tinkering. Have you designed anything of your own to print? BilletHead 1

I have a power window button in my wife's car that needs replaced, I've considered making it. There are sites you can see what items are available for printing without membership. Printables and makerworld are really good. I spend alot of time browsing. The switch is in a panel with 4 window switches, power adjustable mirror and power collapsible mirror. I assumed that whole thing would be just a ridiculous price. $23 on amazon and overnight shipping for free!!! Unreal. Popped the old one out and new one in, in about 3 minutes. Same with the 4WD switch on my Tahoe. 124.00 from O'Reilly's...... Found it on Amazon for 43.00. Has worked flawlessly for over a year so far. Also just got a new "38.00" bulb for my fancy fly tying lamp for 8.00 👍 Daryk Campbell Sr, grizwilson and snagged in outlet 3 3
