    It is a wonder that we don't see more drownings with all the yakers and canoes out there. I saw multiple yaks being put in with 4 units running on Taney just the other day. I would bet that would have been their first time on Taney and their experience was probably zero in Kayaks. A tragedy waiting to happen.

    First time Fishing with Wrench. Had a blast. I didn't know he was such a stick. I will have a much bigger net next time. Unfortunately that is the first fish I have lost at the net in ages. That sucker ran into that brush like a rabbit for sure. I am sure that fish has been around a long time so that is not its first rodeo. It was definitely a pig. What we needed was a boga lip ripper grip .

    Hey Quillback ,I went the first time with a guy that had made numerous trips back in 2003 .I have been about 8 or nine times since. Biggest I ever caught weighed about 30 lbs and was 41-42 inches long. All caught on 10 wt. flyrods both during the day and also at night.
