Big difference between BEATINGS and behavior correcting SPANKINGS. What you see now with "safe spaces", adult temper trantrums when they don't get their way and lashing out in public in a pathetic manner is a direct result of poor parenting/leadership. Most of the nonsense, pouting, pandering and hypocrisy comes from one side of the isle. Not hard to guess which. 176champion, tapout, Ellros and 7 others 10

No one ever talks fishing on this forum anymore Massive boat wakes...... fishing. Just experienced both first hand yesterday. Couldn't fish any main lake stuff due to MASSIVE constant wakes. The boat ride to and from was miserable. This fishing forum provides us fisherman the opportunity to help ourselves by getting involved and I'm thankful to have OA - Table Rock as long as we make good use of it by getting the word out on fishing, tackle and yes, what affects TR. What better place to do it? Discussing the issue of massive boats on an inland reservoir we all love and appreciate at a Corps public meeting seems to be the least we can do to help ourselves and our kids fishing future. skeeter, magicwormman, Smalliebigs and 1 other 2 2
magicwormman Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I just sent a Email to Roy Blunt And Billy Long: I own a home and a dock on Table Rock Lake. I have read the 2017 Table Rock Lake shoreline management plan and am very concerned about a couple of items. I am not against growth and economic development, but I would like to know the number of empty boat slips on the lake. Many slips are sitting empty due to developers hoarding them for future lot sales. Everyone knows about the program to get boat titles and you can beat the system. I know in our area near point 13, over 50% are empty and not sold. I also feel the plan to eliminate all private dock buoys is absolutely insane. With the increase boat traffic, especially larger boats the last thing in the world we need is removal of the buoys. I understand the burden it is on the Highway patrol, to try to maintain them. I think the best solution would be to let the dock owners be responsible for all the buoys. Thank You for any help on these matters. Ken Spaanem Daryk Campbell Sr, Browning Guy and skeeter 2 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 My solution to the whole issue about the big boats in the summer is pretty Simple. BULL SHOALS!!!!!! tapout 1

Well, some children can't be reasoned with very easily, and most folks don't have the time or spare change available to quit working and play 24/7 psychiatric head games with a child for 3-6 months in order to get them straightened out. It may seem barbaric and unworthy of respect to some, but if there's one thing that a "free spirited" kid understands....it is pain. It gets the job done and as far as I know it hasn't ruined anyone yet. Kids that are pleasant to be around aren't the ones getting popped upside the head. If your dad/mom has a short fuse then learning to respect that and tow the line is a good life lesson. The word "abuse" needs to be redefined. Champ188, magicwormman, abkeenan and 4 others 7

Ken Spaanem $20,000 and up just for a boat slip isn't pocket change. That's one reason so many are empty. And I thought most buoys were installed (following Corp rules) and maintained, by dock owners.
