What fishing gear did you get for Christmas?

Never get anything fishing related. Long passed the big aquisition phase. The kids got some new mid level spin rods.

I have to turn in my man card, but I bought a post Christmas gift for myself today.  It' a camo fanny pack with lots f compartments and holder on each side for water bottle, or cans, etc.  I plan on bushwhacking around a few creeks, and this may be the ticket.

Daryk, combine the fanny pack with a safari vest and all its pockets and I think you can have more stuff than most guys in boats.  I used to walk around a lot of creeks like that.  I still.occasionally find stuff in my old safari vest pockets.

Didn't get any fishin' stuff, but I gave my old, green, Coleman canoe to a good friend's teen boys. Bet I get more enjoyment from them having it than me.

Thanks BilletHead,the best thing I got for Christmas was a year ago.My daughter had a baby boy.He is a year old this Christmas.What a fun day we had on Chistmas day.The gift that keeps on giving.
