I am about as confused as you. I originally posted a link to a google photos album and Trout Addict pointed out that a few of the images still had the info tag on them still....so I deleted it. then the accusations start to fly about how unfriendly it is to try not to show where the images were taken.... no biggie to me, I understand people want to know where to go fishing.

Then he goes into the CGB "ugly baby" diatribe against the Lower Meramec???

It's none of my business, but I'm curious..... What is it that bothers some of y'all about the Meramec boys ?   As I see it they are some of the easiest going, and most laid back group of guys on here.  Always among the first to offer up information or assistance, and extending invitations to come hang out with them.

Somebody please spell it out for me, draw pictures if that's what it takes because I am totally in the dark here and if there's a reason to be pissy about them then byGod I wanna know so that I can fart in their general direction all the time too.

Pics posted, geo tags intact, how to access geo tag info, pics removed then....the train came off the tracks. 

I don’t have a horse in the race and I’ve enjoyed watching this drama. I may take pic with location services on for every fish I catch this year on public water just to see if I bump into anyone. The concern is real, who knows if the actual threat is.

Truth is I would've took trout addict fishing. Or gave him advice if he needed.  I don't consider myself anything more than a sportsman.  I consistently get beat down at what few tournaments I have fished.  There's only one guy on the river I can't stand.  He's not even on this forum.  Or is he .........

There are really people on here doing cryptic cyber analysis on photos to see if they can pinpoint the GPS coordinates of where the fish was caught?

You have your location services turned off on your phones camera if that's what you used.

If you have it on it will bring up the location the photo was taken in google maps.

A couple of the photos Smallie posted had the location on them I guess.
