At least the weigh in is only an hour or so away from the launch site so the fish should be just fine.......

If you care to, there is space at the bottom of the article in the link for some appropriate comments about that extreme weigh-in distance or whatever.

Yep. Bull is too rough to fish out of anything less than a 30' wellcraft.

Floods all the darn time, no food place around, can't even buy gas without driving into Branson. Terrible, horrible lake. Big posterior mosquitos, clouds of biting flies, strange sulphur odors everywhere. All the ski boats only tow fat gals with missing teeth...

just the armpit of the universe it is.

Well Harvey finished 50th.  Only needed 5 more pounds to get to 12th and fish today.  He only got one bass on day one and that did him in as he had a decent day 2.  Looks like tough fishing, leader has 21 lbs. after 2 days.

Nah - if they bothered to respond at all I’m sure it would be the usual assurance that the highest possible level of care would be provided to each and every fish and that they would be released in even better shape than they were in when they were caught.

Heck, they might even earn a life of pampered leisure in one of Bass Pro’s exalted aquatic mansions.

My thoughts exactly.

I think they only take 28 guys .

That will certainly help. It should also help that fishing is liable to be slow and won’t draw a lot of attention on the internet and otherwise.
