I want to be the onboard judge for this one. Maybe shoot some video and am sure I would have to mute it to be able to post. Could we make it a fly tourney? Oh guess not as you guys need the pink fluke ,

I am capable of keeping it PG-13, unless I get about 4 pounds behind, then it would begin to get R rated for sure.

You just remember that the dip net in the boat is not for netting fish, it is for poking Ronnie in the balls, or striking him firmly across the back of the neck anytime he even looks like he is winding up to set the hook on anything.

"Get the net" is gonna take on a whole new meaning in this fiasco.

I must respectfully decline. My present 60-plus hours a week work schedule doesn’t allow me to take my loved ones fishing, much less some stranger that you feel needs to tag along in my boat because you feel I’m not trustworthy.

I also don’t see why the challenger should pick the lake, hours, launch spot, etc. Seems you feel the need to stack the deck in your favor.

Anyway, I’m honored to be tops on your list and to occupy a place of scorn in your head.

Maybe someday.

The object is to beat a guy on his home waters, if your good enough. Hence why Sprague drove up from Tx. to fish against Watson on TR.

As with 99% of the things i involve myself in with life, its all about the fun of it. I just figured since you fished the elite side of things for years, won your share, and dont post much info here, i would see if you were up to the challange.  No harm to foul. On to the next of the list.

After I get my boat fixed I’m in for a challenge. I’ve had my butt kicked before. No shame for me to lose. I can hold my own.

I have a boat, fuel, and always ready to travel.  Keep me on your list when your back on the water buddy.

So many different format types a guy could use with this concept.  Watson/Sprague fished two 90 minute sessions, with a 30 minute break between. They actually shortened the break due to the rain.

This is a great way for those that havent fished tournaments due to their feelings on relocating fish, and would like that 1 on 1 concept for the ribbing rights until you meet again.

I suck at fishing. Been bass fishing over 35 years, and still at the bottom of the learning pit, but im always up for a challenge. I will even travel out of state if  challenged.

Great way to meet some of the guys here in person, that we may not otherwise do. And if i get lunch after bought for me, then i came out on top. I will make sure i bring enough cash for your lunch tho. "above paragraph".

If you are interested in the rules used by others, log onto BassZone and check it out. Really cool concept for a friendly 1 on 1.   See ya on the water.

What is fun/friendly about wrongfully accusing a person of not contributing any information to the forum or saying he has "no attributes other than to run his mouth"?

Fact is, I'm the top-ranked member on this board, as the attached screen grab shows.

I've shared a ton of info with a lot of people on this board … taken a bunch of them fishing to help them learn. And I'd do every bit of it again. What I won't do is continue to post free information about specific bites going on in specific areas of the lake. I'd be happy to do that if it was limited to consumption by members alone, but this site is hit hard by drive-by guys who never join or contribute one bit of information. They simply leech what our members post for use in tournaments or to go saw the sides off whatever they can catch.

I'm happy to give out specific info in PM's and I frequently do. Heck, I'd even share with you, should you have need of whatever little I might happen to know. Just don't wrongly accuse me of not being a productive member here.

When I read the original post, I momentarily thought to myself that those were not the right words to use. Later I realized he must be tweeking you. Everyone on here knows you fish frequently, you have fished tournaments successfully, and that your posts of your trips are filled with information. I suggest he was just trying to pick out the funniest example he could?
