This flow - no turbines and 2 gates - will continue through the weekend into Monday according to the SPA schedule.

They stocked a bunch of rainbows this afternoon according to Tony Weldele from the RR bridge to Monkey Island...

Good fishing!

Was at the landing shopping with the wife about an hour before dark tonight and the fish were midging up and down that entire stretch of the landing by the hundreds.  That section of the lake has to be absolutely loaded with fish right now.

I was able to get a few hours in yesterday ....  fishing from the bank I was down by Scotty's and I caught many in 4 hours....mainly on the pink worm and float.  Actually pretty good size....but the hatchery boat did make a few passes while I was there

Where is the closest free public ramp near the Landing - I use to put in down there before the Landing was built but now there is a sign in the parking south of Bass Pro indicating no public access?

There’s a public ramp buy the RV park down there.  Right by Scotty’s dock.  It’s Branson City Park.

If you don't have a boat or want to wade fish right now, go just below the park and you can fish to the Bass Pro Fish House.  You can use most anything and catch fish.  Fly rod with a dry and a midge or a Y2K under a float.  Spinning rod any small 1/8 to 1/4 oz spoon or powerworm.  It really does not matter, there are 1000's of fish in that 200 yrd. stretch.
