dan hufferd Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 My wife bought this to keep my head from burning off. How do you keep your glasses from fogging up It is not real comfy for a bearded guy. Suggestions are welcome. JestersHK and Johnsfolly 2
fishinwrench Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 I'll be so glad when this fashion fad peters out. So tired of guys whipping in fresh off the lake with "Hey Wrench how's it going?" And I'm like ...Going good! Who the hell are you? The REAL Spiderman or an imposter? Sing a song and I'll try to guess. Seems to be 2 types now. The guys with full body cover ink who wear nothing but a pair of shorts, and the guys who walk around fully covered like a raped Muslim chick. MickinMO, Smalls21, terryj1024 and 5 others 3 5

I guess my wife is tired of my face pealing off. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
MOPanfisher Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 I bought one after having several spots removed from face and ears. That thing is HOT and uncomfortable. Not even sure where it is right now. I am going back to spf50 sunblock. liphunter, fishinwrench and dan hufferd 2 1
moguy1973 Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 I hate wearing sunscreen and having to reapply it while fishing so I’ll just continue to help set this face mask trend. I don't pull my masks up over my nose and mouth and it helps a little in keeping my glasses from fogging. Those are the only places on my body I put sunscreen as I’ll wear long pants and long sleeves and fishing gloves in the hottest of weather too. liphunter Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Same hear. Any more I try to cover up somewhat. Either sunblock or some kind of clothing. I thought I would get a mask nest winter. Maybe help keep my delicate skin from getting cold... I had to friends on the railroad die from skin cancer. It was kind of a wake up call for me... Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???
moguy1973 Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 If anyone wants masks for cheap this place has them 8 for $24 with lots of colors and styles to pick from. https://safishing.com/shop/8-for-24-face-shields-em75/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Sun - April 21 - 8 For 24 Easter&utm_content=Sun - April 21 - 8 For 24 Easter+Version+A+CID_d01911f83770f0a32077b1055e890c94&utm_source=Email&utm_term=8 FOR 24 FACE SHIELDS#configuration JestersHK and liphunter 2 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Flysmallie Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Well like my daughters tell me, fashionable doesn’t mean comfortable. Bass Yakker and patfish 2
timinmo Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Not cheap. Fish Monkey sells one with perforations at your mouth and nose. They also have some great sun gloves. I don't have a link nor do I sell them. Daryk Campbell Sr, ZigJigman and dan hufferd 3
JestersHK Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 I SPF 70 on my nose and head. I wear a hood until it goes above 90 or so. I'm only 38 and already have a spot on my nose... Started the gloves this year as well. I really like them for trout anyways with the extra grip. I need to go full wrap at some point as much as I'm out in the sun. Skin cancer sucks.
