Gavin Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Think N. Korean rocket man is certainly lying. Bet he has killed more by torture & starvation than the virus ever will kill in his country this year. China lied, and is still lying. Russia is lying. You cant trust those statistics...US is rather transparent, and probably similar to what is going on in Europe, but those country's are tiny. US has a population of 340M, and 1.5M is cases...90K dead. 3rd largest country in the world, China lies, and India has no way to report what is going on. The scientist are not going to solve it anytime soon. Suck it up Butter Cup. Protect yourself and your family, but go back to work, all you can do. The virus has no brain, and it does not care about you, has no malice. If you get it you kick it or you don't. . Listen to the science and continue the lockdown until.... Listen to the science that provides evidence that the curve has flattened and we can ease the restrictions. There is really a lot of concern from a bunch of guys that live in areas where you have a 0.2% chance of contracting covid and in a country that doesn't have a death rate greater than 10% for confirmed cases like most of the EU. That's even if you didn't wear a mask. That is what the data says. Maybe that's due to not really being exposed to COVID or already being sick at a lesser grade. Regardless take the necessary precautions and go back to living your life without much trepidation. Also be thankful you don't live in an area that still has hundreds of new cases a day. No offense...but $hit fire...if you believe anything coming out of North Korea...you’re crazy. honestly...the jury is still out On where this thing ends up for the ole US of A...But my bet is the Supreme Court Exactly my point.....I would bet there is huge discrepancy in the USA numbers if we really got to looking at it. Heck we know for sure not everyone is being testing so we know the numbers cant be remotely true as far as infection rate and death rate. We know were missing data. The comical thing to me is this: Why did anyone expect our federal government to get this right? We can go down the list of things our federal government does or has done and its one check after against them......regardless of party in power. VA hospitals.....postal system.......Obamacare rollout......war in Iraq......war on drugs...... We largely stumble, trip, and fall over just about every major thing we do.....why would this be any different? There's to many people involved pulling too many different ways for anything to be successful. My employer has cut hourly employees from 40+ to capped at 32 hrs. Those people are filing work share for their last 8hrs and getting the $600 bonus bump......something wrong with that. Fail for the government. nomolites and wily 2

This is the notion I’ve been struggling with lately (past 10 years). Do we really want the same thing??? It seems achieving the things we want is the most, and really only important part, not what we actually want. So I’ve come to the realization that as Americans we really don’t want the same things. It’s a non achievable goal. I don’t want my grand children being taught at school by a drag queen. I don’t want population control by any means. I don’t want a panel deciding whether to refuse medical help for me or my family. expect the wrath of Al to be unleashed Johnsfolly, Deadstream and top_dollar 2 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Jerry Rapp Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 can someone who says Trump has mismanaged this thing, please list exactly what should have been done. First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it. 29. First President to go on multiple "global apology tours" and concurrent "insult our friends" tours. 30. First President to go on over 17 lavish vacations, in addition to date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends paid for by the taxpayers. 31. First President to have personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife. 32. First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at taxpayer expense. 33. You have the luxury to be able to do just that. Many in this country cannot afford to sit and wait. Some of us may be in the high risk group do to genetics and life-style choices, but still have to go to work nearly everyday and have been doing so throughout the pandemic. We also have to manage our teams to remain productive while setting up processes that allow our workers to be as safe as possible. Mitch f and nomolites 2
