Mitch -- no, not delusional at all.  Just angry.

Delusional is:  saying that he is "a lock" to win the Nobel Prize for medicine as he did today.

Delusional is:  saying that a few weeks ago people would miraculously heal themselves, and that the US had "contained the disease"

Delusional is: saying that this will all be over by Easter.

Delusional is:  talking about his popularity on Facebook as the US death toll zooms by 10,000 and on its way to 200,000 . . . . a figure he would never had admitted just a few days ago

Delusional is:  dismantling the CDC and claiming that he didn't

Delusional is:  throwing out the Pandemic playbook

Delusional is:  bullying reporters when he doesn't like the question or doesn't have a good answer, including mocking a disabled reporter.

I could rattle off about 1000 more.

Monday morning quarterbacking at its best. So any other President would have been able to sift through all the false statements and data given by other countries and acted differently? Your and the other crazies are just putting everything he does under a microscope and trying to come up with a gotcha moment. So the fact that your in-laws didn’t take things seriously (“more or less”)then they are obviously sick because of Trump? Specifically how did they catch it? We’re they practicing social distancing?

Media coverage aside, the recommended actions thus far have been based upon data and nothing could have stopped this thing from making it’s world tour.  Does it suck?/. Heck yes!  As far as leadership, if you threw every one of the pols in DC in a room and turned off the lights you would not be able to tell who is talking...they are all the same.  I make it a point not to wait for guidance from the east coast...

Yes - I think ANY other President in the last 50 years would have done a better job than this.  We have a full blown sociopath running the show.  The "gotcha" moments aren't just one or two --- there is an avalanche of them.

Look at the original date of this thread . . . . . January 28th.  Lets accept that as a date that I think most of us recognized this is a serious problem.  And most certainly his advisers and our own experts were telling and warning LONG before that.  But he never listened.   He ignored all of the warning signs, blamed everyone but himself, said "I take no responsibility", and now this is the states problem to figure out.  Jared Kushner is working on things, oh what a relief that is to know.

This could have been minimized.  It wouldn't have been pleasant.  It sure wasn't helpful telling people that this was completely contained, or that people would miraculously heal on their own.  We shouldn't be leading the rest of the world with this problem.

This will be interesting once its out there..

Not sure I like the "show me your papers" to go back to work.. seems Awful 3rd Reich.... but I too have been under the weather for a long time and .... just now feel like I have gotten over the hump of feeling like crap every day "almost 45 days of feeling like crap..) granted I suffer from allergies and we have cats dog, birds, etc so I'm always stuffy... but this was different.. Maybe its just psychosomatic for me but maybe not.. I'd kinda like to take an antigen test.

Here is the Mayor of Houston Texas, Sylvester Turner,  on TV telling everyone to wear their facemasks.

Maybe he should take a lesson on HOW to wear one😁😁.
