No parental consent, no warning, nothing. My mom and a bunch of other parents completely lost their mind on the school over that. I was too young to understand what was going on, but I'll never forget it. The shot hurt like hell. Yeah the air gun vaccine. Remember it well. I went to a small catholic grade school and the vaccines were given at school instead of at the doctor's office and then the school checking paperwork to make sure you have them like they do now. Heck I still remember my buddies older brother had polio. You don't see that in modern times.

I can't even remember vaccines at school, or maybe I got them at the doctors office, but I know it was needles which always scared me. One of the first things they did in Army basic training was line us up single file to walk past a guy on each side with one of those guns, both shoulders at once got hit. That's the only time I got that kind of vaccine, and I now am fine with needles, I just don't watch when I get the injection. Deadstream 1

Both parties have essentially the same long term goals and that is bigger government and greater public dependency on the central government. Both parties feed each other and both feed off each other, petty bickering to keep the voters believing there is a difference and to keep voters minds off any real changes. They seem to take turns forfeiting the White House by running their least electable candidate, they always hang together against any outside candidate or third party because both parties are benefiting from the status quo. They are in it together, they are all fake and grifters. Trump is as genuine as you are ever going to get. He promised to fix the economy(check), drain the swamp(trying like heck), lower taxes(check). The first Bush sort of started the campaign fibbing. MOPanfisher Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 I had to do the one up when I was deployed to New Olean after Katrina, think I got 4 that time and a couple more later. Joplin I got a tetanus booster just because, and after my transplant I got 7 shots the same morning and the procedure had wiped out all vaccinations. Was so happy to be leaving and going home, I didn't care if they had given me 17 more. Since then needles and IVs are just another day, NEVER let a Dr. Give you a shot, always look for the older nurse, or even just a cute nurse, Drs well it just isn't their strong suit. And some of the ones that do "sticks" all day long are so good and smooth you hardly feel it, I like them! Quillback 1

tjm Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 It's not the POTUS job to run the country or to protect us from virus. He just makes suggestions to the Congress and approves or rejects what they put out. Jimmy C was the guy that brought China, and therefore this pandemic, to our doorsteps. But they all play for the same team, and it ain't for our benefit. N9BOW 1
