The cool part is I need all new shorts wardrobe.  Down 35 pounds now.

Nice!  I'm still down about 25 since July 1 of last year.  Although I was about 30 and all this stay at home stuff has put some back.

Ami’s and Schottzies make my kind of Pizza. Ran the line at a Pasta House at 17, worked at Rich & Charlie’s on Watson as the sauté chef for a shift or two. The place was disgusting. Got a $2 an hour raise to come back to the PHC at Gravois & McKenzie. 30 years ago.

Their Taco Pizza Sucks... Id rather have a Pappa murphy's taco pizza

I have to say that for the most part I personally dislike these types of specialty pizzas. It's fusion gone bad. Keep pizza as pizza and tacos as tacos. In my opinion we don't need a burrito stromboli 😌! Or kimchi calzones😵. Don't get started on how good pineapple is either😒.

I worked at a deep dish pizza place in High school. There was a bar attached to the restaurant. The place served a taco pizza. 90% of the time it was ordered after 9 pm and from the bar. I cringed everytime one was served since I usually had to clean it up again later in the bathroom if they made it that far. What's worse is that it looked about the same as when it was served. Didn't see that happen with pepperoni or sausage pizza.

Oh and in N Ireland they love corn on pizza😌.

Corn on pizza??   Never heard of it.  I like all styles but probably eat more thin crust than anything.  When Dewey opened out here we hit it hard.  Then word got around quickly and we got tired of waiting an hour or more to eat every time.  Really good though.  I guy out here had an Italian pizza oven for n a trailer he towed around like a ford truck.  Old school hand tossed.  He finally opened a restaurant. They sell out every weekend.  Or did before Kung flu.

When I was in high school I worked at a place called the Sorrento Room in Milford Mass.  It is still in business, different ownership, and I haven't been back there in close to 45 years, but at the time we made the best pizza I've ever had.

We made our own dough, sauce from a tomato sauce base, and grated our own cheese from blocks of cheddar and mozzarella.   Friday nights were crazy, we had three ovens going, three guys working like madmen, one guy rolling out the dough, placing on the pan, another guy saucing and cheesing and a third guy working the ovens, if you got caught up on the dough, you'd help out with the ovens and so on.  It would be crazy from about 5 PM on a Friday until 9 PM, then we'd have another rush around 11 PM.

My favorite was Italian sausage with fresh green peppers.  We'd use sausage out of the skin, put chunks on the pizza.  You have to Sautee fresh peppers before putting them on a pizza as they won't full cook in the time they are in the oven, but it is so much better than canned peppers.

I spent years traveling the country for work, I've had NY pizza, Chicago pizza, trendy LA pizza, and every chain pizza out there.  Hard to find one that measures up to the Sorrento Room back in the day.

There's a place here in Bella Vista, Gusanos, that does an excellent pizza that has a few other locations in AR too.  However it is pricey, $25 for a 16" pizza with a couple of toppings.  I don't like their deep dish however - they put the sauce on top the cheese on their deep dish and I don't like it.

One other thing the Sorrento Room was really good at was Veal Parmigiana.

I managed several Godfather's Pizza joints after college for about 5 years.  Shrimp and pineapple or taco pizza.

Made one last nite in the oven, Best Choice crust, tomato sauce with Italian season and parm cheese, Mozz cheese, beef, bacon, onion, and fresh mushroom.  Tasty stuff.
