Saw some for $79.99 using Google search You found new Stradic ci 4's for 79.99? Nevermind. I found the site where you saw those. You can also buy some pretty dresses. Good luck with that... abkeenan and crazy4fishin 1 1

This is the lowest end Daiwa reel that comes with the SV option. Go see @timinmo at Denny Dennis in Fenton and he can set you up. I picked up that exact same reel last year on sale and I love it! My Lews tourney pros have been good reels and I still use them a lot, but I think my future reels will continue to be these Tatula SV reels. abkeenan and Mitch f 2
Seth Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I would have bought one of those CI4's for that price. Earlier this year I bought a Stradic FL 1000 to pair up with my Mike Riffle custom built trout rod. That reel is amazing! The Daiwa Tatula spinning reel is another one I would like to try out sometime. magicwormman 1

Wal Mart sells fishing reels, and women's clothes, so does Bass Pro,Cabelas and many other stores. For that price it's worth looking into though isn't it? They may not even be a legit company, who knows. I just saw the ad on Google . Champ188 1

I just saw the ad on Google. I'm suggesting that the quoted price is not legitimate. Even with my limited computer expertise, I'd be wary of opening a file on that site. As to what clothes you should wear, for the next few days I'd recommend t shirt and shorts. Fish24/7 1

Bill Babler Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Ya that 79 bucks would not be legit. My VIP discount when I can wrangle one is 5 reels at 50% off retail so your still talking $115.00 on the CI4. BP is just about famous for this type of deal. Just when I get off their case the last few years they start pulling this stuff again. It is simply bait and switch. "Oh, we are so sorry, those are gone but we would love to sell you a Johnny Morris series that is every bit as good." i really miss those two guys that worked the reel repair counter in the Outlet Store for years until they job was cancelled. They were straight shooters and that is another reason their job was probably eliminated. One of them told me one day that he worked for this company and was loyal to this company but would not lie for them When asked about BP reel quality he would point out virtues with features and benefits. When asked about comparing two different reels from different companies he would flat out say which one was best. Not knocking the BP reels, but answering the question honestly. Can't ask for any more than that and if you expect a employee to purger him or herself for you your not the kind of company most of us want to work for or with. magicwormman, mixermarkb, Champ188 and 1 other 4 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 The C14 isn't listed online now. I agree with ya'll that it is totally bogus to say you have them on sale but have little to no inventory. I have some club points built up, could've had one for about $80 out the door. magicwormman 1
fshndoug Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 I have been to BP to many times only to find that they don't have the good deal in the store that they have in their sale paper.Save your time.I bet you could buy all the $60,000 boats you could haul out of the lot. magicwormman 1
Champ188 Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 BPS in Rogers is giving more and more display space to their crappy store-brand stuff. Especially lures. Can hardly find any brand-name stuff in decent colors, and seems like they are constantly eliminating more brands. I do most of my shopping at Hook Line & Sinker. Johnny neither needs nor misses my money. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
