ColdWaterFshr Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I’m on the right side of the dirt. My in-laws are on the right side of the dirt, and doing great. Had dinner last night with them and some good laughs. Thanks to all the well wishers here. At least i don’t have “bullets knickin’ me in the posterior” as my uncle would remark about his daily trials with survival in Vietnam. I’m still employed and grateful for it at a time when friends and colleagues have been furloughed. My ego and humility have done battle and humility has won. Though probably temporary 🤣 Our family has grown closer than we would be otherwise. Not all going 20 different directions. Had lots of sit down meals at home together and probably at a time in my kids life when it could not be more important. 3 teenagers ain’t easy, but if you slow down and listen, they listen too. wily Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I edited my reply...I had too many blues last night...but I would say the #1 thing for me...is that I am able to work from home...I’m starting to get used to it and like it. More family time is the best perk for me. snagged in outlet 3, laker67, BilletHead and 1 other 2 2

laker67 Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 First grandchild was born in April. My wife retired in May. And we got to meet up with an Ozark Angler member and his wife this past week. It was a short but great visit. Look forward to seeing them and other OA members on the creek in 2020. Stay safe everyone. Johnsfolly, Mitch f, BilletHead and 2 others 5
Johnsfolly Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 As much as I complain about work or not being able to fish for over a month back when we were locked down in MD, my wife still is by ny side. My daughter still fishes with me on a regular basis. Finally have been able to see our granddaughter here in KS. Though she isn't sure about grandpa yet. Slowly completing a few of my fishing goals this year. More will be posted about those endeavors. laker67, BilletHead, snagged in outlet 3 and 2 others 5
moguy1973 Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Something awesome that happened to our family in 2020 is we got this little guy the other day to join us. Unfortunately he won’t be little for long. fishinwrench, Daryk Campbell Sr, Johnsfolly and 7 others 10 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Thanks for this today. I am hoping it was cleaned and she gets to eat it. What a learning experience for her.
