I’m on the right side of the dirt.

My in-laws are on the right side of the dirt, and doing great.  Had dinner last night with them and some good laughs.  Thanks to all the well wishers here.

At least i don’t have “bullets knickin’ me in the posterior” as my uncle would remark about his daily trials with survival in Vietnam.

I’m still employed and grateful for it at a time when friends and colleagues have been furloughed.  My ego and humility have done battle and humility has won.  Though probably temporary 🤣

Our family has grown closer than we would be otherwise.  Not all going 20 different directions.  Had lots of sit down meals at home together and probably at a time in my kids life when it could not be more important. 3 teenagers ain’t easy, but if you slow down and listen, they listen too.

First grandchild was born in April. My wife retired in May. And we got to meet  up with an Ozark Angler member  and his wife this past week. It was a short but great visit. Look forward to seeing them and other OA members on the creek in 2020. Stay safe everyone.

As much as I complain about work or not being able to fish for over a month back when we were locked down in MD, my wife still is by ny side.

My daughter still fishes with me on a regular basis.

Finally have been able to see our granddaughter here in KS. Though she isn't  sure about grandpa yet.

Slowly completing a few of my fishing goals this year. More will be posted about those endeavors.

Neat Mitch! Thanks for this today. I am hoping it was cleaned and she gets to eat it. What a learning experience for her.

I released it, but only because these subdivision frogs  🐸 get a lot of fertilizer run off water!

That's  awesome Mitch. All kids should know how to catch frogs and fish IMO.
