If I get back out on the Rock prior to October   I though I was on Erie this morning at point 9, on a Monday morning.  They were in front of me behind me and around over and under me making 4 footers by 7:45 this morning.  Worst day i have on TR.  EVER.

I felt like this guy from Lake Erie.

It's just crazy how fast the lake got this busy.  Seems like just 4 years ago it wasn't bad.

I had jet ski guys jumping my wake at 6:40. Did you have a guide trip or just fishing by yourself? I talked to a guy for about 15 seconds in a white/black Phoenix with a shark jaw front.

Ouch!  I dont think a slap is good enough.   If that didn't teach you, a slap sure wont.  Sorry to see that damage.

That's not my boat, that's a boat from the FlW on Lake Erie.  Lake Erie is what it felt like out there this morning.

Boat damage crossing Lake Erie this past week in the Super Tournament.

Nitro.  Zero damage 

Bass Cat.  Zero damage

Phoenix  Zero damage

Skeeter cracked cap

Ranger. Main  Console torn out, Passenger seat broken free and lost, Driver seat broken out when driver was in it, Nose cap broken and trolling motor flipped back into the boat.

One of the local Ranger Pro's told me today that it has taken Johnny but a few years to totally destroy what it took Forrest Wood a lifetime to build.

Fished Saturday between Beaver town and spider creek up the white........5 ski boats above beaver bridge. An entire crew of jet skis at and above houseman......and what looked like a smaller catamaran/outboard style speed boat.....get this ABOVE the big pillars past the HWY 62 bridge.

That's how it was Sunday up aunts Creek. The wake boats have found their way up there and since it is a smaller more narrow area I think it is way worse than being on the main lake. What was the deciding factor for me to leave was while I was looking at the live scope screen The waves were making me sea sick. I was in a deep v aluminum boat. And the nose of my boat would go several feet in the air to the tip of the boat was in the water. With water crashing over top of my trolling motor.

Did you catch anything?  That’s a pretty great part of the world...haven’t fished it much in the heat of summer but there are times that it is pretty good

These wake boats are getting out of control! Most of them have no respect for anyone! I have taken water several times this year in my 20 ft. Ranger. This last week I was down at our dock cleaning up my boat and I noticed a wake boat with 5 young people tie up to our buoy , while they were swimming. I kindly asked the young man what he was doing and he replied that he had tied up several times to that buoy. I informed him that there are several trees to tie up to or use a anchor. His reply was, I'll be gone in 30 minutes! I informed him "or less"! I don't think these young people  realize that you don't want to pi$$ off a OLD guy! Just as they were about to leave, I waved them over to have a chat with the young man. Needless to say he didn't come over to see me. Probably for the best as I might have lost my christian attitude and regretted it later.
