My wife caught this little guy last week. Looks like he was dyed with blue Koolaid. That's the only fish tale I have.

I've been fishing the local Bella Vista lakes lately,  just not up for the one hour drive for a few hours of morning fishing.  But looks like the weather is going to cool down again, the kids are back in school and we will soon have Labor Day weekend in the rearview mirror so things are looking up.

Yeah, well,  we're headed back down on the 12th and until you can put our weeklong visit in that rearview mirror it won't be safe to go outside!

How's everyone feel about snow in mid September this year?

I was out Saturday Morning from 6:00AM - 10:30AM

Fished a 3/4 oz dixie jet and a 3" swimbait on a 1/4 oz head, boated 35 or so.

2 small walleye and about 10 keepers, a few nice largemouth.

Fished around Shell Knob, ran into Bill at the grocery store yesterday and sounded like he had a nice morning of catching too

This should tell ya a little about the fishing pressure as well haha.

Poor guy had 3 holes in his head and a missing lip

Pretty cool looking sunfish! Looks like a green sunfish but no idea where it got that color.

Vernon, in my 30 years coming down I have had everything for upper 90's to 50's in September.  Snow would not suprise me.  I prefer not to sweat so cooler is better.
