MOPanfisher Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 A Stanley coffee thermos and a 2 sided place o crappie box full of jigs, on the back bumper of my truck. I make it a point anymore to not put anything on bumper or top of car. One benefit of chemo brain and getting older is if I have left something else there I forgot about it.

fishinwrench Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 I bet there have been 20+ phones on the rear bumpers of trucks over the years when guys drop boats off here. They get out to unhook the boat and say...."Holy Crap, THERE'S my Phone!". Obviously set it there when they hooked up to it. If you ever watch a truck or SUV travel on a dusty gravel road you'll see that there's a vortex that tends to keep things from getting blown off a rear bumper. Had an opened fly box stay glued to a rear bumper for 140 miles once. Never even lost a single wooly-bugger.

David Unnerstall Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Just recently the trailer lock, key and second boat ignition key turned up missing. I vaguely recall putting it on the bumper. To all of the youngsters reading this never put anything on the step bumper, ever, not even once, don't even think of it. bfishn 1

On the old conservation cafe, my username was Horace. Several people were surprised when they actually met me.
Foghorn Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 An apple pie, a pizza ,2 high dollar fly rods and reels as we left Montauk and drove the gravel road just pass the bridge to hit the back road to Hwy.63. Something kind of made a bouncing sound and we both realized that the rods were on top of the Explorer.

Basfis Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 One shoe. Not both, just one on a duck hunt. To this day I don’t know how the pair was separated or why I wasn’t wearing them.... Terrierman and Johnsfolly 2
