When I get some time, I'll see if I can move these pics to the Gallery.  I have a few pics there from last year.  It would be neat to have them all in one spot.

You can view them by going to the Browse tab, select Gallery, then Jeff's Pics and there will be a subfolder for Jigfest.  There's only nine pics there for now.

I'm gonna let the pictures speak for themselves.   We had a great weekend, really missed all who could not make it.  I arrive friday evening, and got out for the night fishing adventure thanks to Geno for taking me out.   I caught my personal best Brown trout on a White jerkbait, broke the rear hook and tail while thrashing in the net.  Next tied on a french pearl signature series jerkbait from Duane Doty. Then caught the second brown of the night.    Couldn't seem to get any other action, went back and hung out with the guys for a bit before bed.  Cody @gotmuddy was kind enough to let me tag along on his boat, and drive me around  for the weekend.   We had a grind to catch fish Saturday, but just hanging out and being on the water was enough.  I threw Lilley's Landing Jigs, mostly peach sculpin, and olive ginger, and straight olive.  I also threw the French Pearl Signature Series jerkbait, we caught fish, but just couldn't find the numbers.  Saturday night, we had lots of food.  Lots.  Chili with the fixings, Korean pork, toasted Ravioli, smoked wings, smoked salmon, cheesecake, homemade muffins, I'm sure I forgot some.  Saturday evening went ba k out for night fishing at a spot @JestersHK and @N9BOW had discussed, but, water was rising, made for possibly unsafe conditions.  Decided to try another spot, Geno got a rainbow, and DJ got one, but the resf of us struggled.  Called it early.  Got up, Cody wanted to fish some more on Sunday morning.  I was game.  We stayed close to the cabin, it was chilly with rain in the forecast, possible snow.  We caught good numbers.   I was using Lilley's Landing Jigs, Cody was using cranks.  We had doubles,  and back to backs.  It was cold, but the fish had a way of making you forget the cold.   We put Cody's boat through some drills, seeing how shallow it would run.  Inwas impressed.   We were ankle deep when it got stuck.  He has the steelflex epoxy on the bottom, made it very easy to drag.  We had fun boating, fishing, eating and just hanging out.  Hopefully, next year we can have the large crowd again.

Saturday was a rough one for me for sure.  We boated more fish in the hour and a half we fished sunday than all day saturday.  We definitely tested the limitations of the boat as well!  I will post the video in another thread.

Man back at work today and I'm already jonesing to go fish again.   What a fantastic weekend with a great group of guys.  Thank you @Quillbackfor all of your coordination efforts this year and all the years past.  Thank you again @Phil Lilleyfor graciously footing the bill for the cabin.

Thank you to all my fishing brothers for the good times,  good food,  and most of all the good laughs.  The fishing was great, but second place to hanging out with all you hooligans and the good natured ribbing that gets passed around all weekend.

Day fishing was good this year despite the low flows. The numbers on the buffalo were great Friday  for @fmcbrandon and the boys as I was stuck in the cabin working... the night bite was a bit off for me but @Daryk Campbell Sr got his new PB brownie which made it all worth.

Saturday I finally got to fish with @N9BOW and Eric put @BrandonSTLand I on the fish as we bounced from Reds, to Rim, to Wildcat.  Thank you buddy for guiding us to some big fish and keeping us safe. Loved fishing in the Cadillac too! A fine boat she is.

Saturday night was another bust for us, but that's ok too.  I'll get these waters figured out at night and just like learning how to fish Taney at night you have to just put your time in and figure out what works.

Bounced out Sunday to get ahead of the weather.  I figured if we left it wouldn't do anything and allow Daryk and Cody to fish lol.  If we'd have stayed it would of been an ice storm likely lol.

Overall just another great trip in the books.   This truly is a fantastic group of like minded individuals that Phil has brought together here on the site,  and it's a blessing to get together with you all.  Screw Covid19 and fingers crossed we're past all this crap next year for the next Jigfest.

Man almost forgot... @Ham Thank you my friend for taking care of Geno.  He's a hot mess express and the only guy I know who shows up to fish a weekend with a separated shoulder he has to get operated on Wednesday.  Thanks for bringing him back safe so my sister doesn't kill me.

Until next time,  tight lines boys.

I wish you woulda stayed, the ice wasn't bad to fish in, but it started raining and I wasn't wearing my rain gear.
