In 2020 I probably saw a dozen or so slides and one otter.  I prefer they weren't reintroduced but I haven't dispatched any.

People are worse on fish populations than otters. Back when you guys were whining about otters wiping out the fish, it was relatively easy to go catch over 100 fish a day on a creek float. Now that everybody owns a yak or two, fishing is noticeably worse.

Yep.  If you are on a river with access points conducive to floating it's just amazing how many more people are doing it.  A huge increase after Rona hit for sure but still increasing before then.  Saturday at the boat ramp I found about a dozen gar dumped after being shot with a bow.  That's just pure wanton waste and no otters were involved.

                  Not required if you are protecting your personal  property but just killing them because you want to anywhere is not permitted period.   Otters are a game animal.

People just need something to blame everything, that sucks in life, on.   

A pond is either overpopulated with undersized fish......or the darn otters have cleaned it completely out.   

Finding your happy place can so rarely be accomplished !   

Personally, in a fight between an otter and a 3+lb. Bass/Catfish......my money is on the fish
