One of the few fishing pictures of me I have readily available from my youth.  Circa 1985 when I was 12.  Table Rock Dam.

1984 3rd year in a row winning the Des Peres lions Club fishing Derby. I retired out of that circuit following this win 😜

I had a good run at scout camp at S bar F until one year turtles ate my fish off the stringer...😂

I won the big fish Trophy at Camp Arrowhead back in 1984.  Stupid rules were that the fish had to be caught out of the lake.  Well, I fudged the truth a little and said my fish came out of the lake, when in fact it was an 18 smallmouth I caught out of the creek.  I thought it was a bigger accomplishment than any old lake fish, so I ran with it.  Crazy thing is, I don't think the lake has any smallmouth in it, but no one questioned me.

Taneycomo night fishing slaughter, probably 1979.  Me, my brother, and Paul Dallas.  I think we were way above our limits.  

This might have been while fishing directly from the powerhouse dock at Powersite dam.  We used to hike up from the park there on the south side of the pothole and go up and over the dam, through the fence that had been pulled back and fish right there.

Just noticed that.  🤪I think the original photo had the red-eye and this had been touched up with an ink pen.
