Ketchup Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 This is one of those topics that can get confusing. So little research known about it, yet the supposed “gov’ment expert” “that guy is a joke” says now that multiple masks are the cure. Such a dumb thing to say when you are supposedly a doctor. My doctor tells me the total opposite, so i think i will believe someone i know personally. I’m not very good at following orders, never have and never will. To be TOLD to do something goes against how i believe you get things done. There are lots of BS in this country, and this mask thing is right up there with some of the dumbest around. I will stop there for now. Are you a for/against type? Oh yeah, how about that double masking suggestion? Might as well wear the whole box. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Around here if you want to go in anywhere you have to have a mask. So that kind of settles it. Unless you don't want groceries and stuff to eat. I don't care one or the other.
Dutch Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I happen to be in a high risk group. Currently nothing pisses me off more than to see someone wondering around in the store not wearing a mask. jfrith, curtisce, David Unnerstall and 5 others 7 1
moguy1973 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 These videos show why masks during this pandemic are important to protect others from someone who may be asymptomatic and may not know they are infected with the COVID19. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

The reason why it looks like those would be confusing is those two quotes were taken out of context. Put the whole context in there and it would all make sense. The media only lets people read what they want you to read to meet their agenda. Johnsfolly Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Personally this is a moot point for most of the US. Here in MD and at my work place we have been wearing face coverings or masks for most of 2020 and now all of 2021. In the work place if you are in a room with another person you are wearing a mask. If you are alone, no mask is needed. Early on we pushed the distances between people until there was a sufficient supply of masks. Lots of disinfectant supplies and hand sanitizer throughout the buildings (we used locally distilled alcohol when there was not enough hand sanitizer early on). There have been only a handful of COVID cases out of the 150 + staff that have been working in close quarters throughout the pandemic. Also hardly anyone has had a cold or the flu so far either. All stores, dine-in restaurants, salons, barbershops, etc. you wear a face covering or mask. We have lost a few businesses, but many remain open at some capacity. snagged in outlet 3 and BilletHead 2
liphunter Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 I agree Moguy 100% I feel the media, which is just an entertainment business. Has every as much to do with the division in this country as politics. It's to bad. My kids and grandkids are going to have to live in this mess. Does Canada have beaches? snagged in outlet 3 and BilletHead 2 Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???
