Is it even possible to leave a doctor's office, or hospital, without a prescription? 

Doctors are incapable of saying "Everything looks good, go live your life".  

A friend of my daughters had what seemed like a severe anxiety attack and was taken to the hospital.   They ran tests on her and found nothing to be truly physically wrong with her.....but instead of telling her to lay off the Redbull's and energy drinks they gave her a renewable script for some kind of downers comparable to old school Quaaludes.

Had the beloved mother in law been vaccinated with either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, there's about a 94% chance she would not have covid today.  That's what use the vaccine is. 

But she didn't need it.  Choices do have consequences.

You look back in the 60's when the polio vaccine came out, most people went and got it.  And polio was pretty much stamped out.  For whatever reason, here we are 60 years later, and people are scared to get vaccinated against COVID.  Very puzzling.  I guess the thought of being severely handicapped is far worse than actually dying??

If we do this Biometric Testing at work we get our health insurance 100% free.  If not, you pay $300 per month.  So I do the test every year.  My Dr is so hung up on high blood pressure he took it himself after the nurse just did it.  It was even lower when he did it.  But he still insisted I get a home device so they could track it and I did. 

After two months of tracking it he had me bring it in because he thought it was defective.  I go in and he takes my blood pressure which is well in the normal range.  Then they try my machine and sure enough it is wrong.  IT'S ACTUALLY GIVING A HIGHER READING!!!  How much is this dude getting from big pharma to prescribe high blood pressure meds??!!!   I just use him because I need it for the discount.  Otherwise I trust Dr Google more than him.

Couple days ago had the Ambulance come get her.

She decided not to take her Medication and closed the Apartment up, no A/C.

She has always been interesting. She very much hates me.

I will be 69 in July ,never had an operation and don't take any daily meds. Just painted the exterior of a house last week in the heat, did lots of ladder work.

One of the favorite prescriptions of modern doctors.  Partly because everyone seems to want it.  Instead of teaching people how to deal with stress in life everyone want a pill to make them feel better.  I always though stress was like flavor in life, but WTF do I know as I have cancer and now am diabetic, Blood sugar the other day was 500 and A1C cane back at 11, go big or go home I say, yeah I am awaiting delivery of meds for that, hell I take a bunch already what's a few more.  At least my oncologist is on top of what is happening, his wife is an endocrinologist so I will make sure they have nice cars to drive for the forseeabLE future.  All I can think about right now is sitting neck deep in the Niangua with a six of cold beverages beside me and enjoy the day.  Maybe soon.
