I'm sorry, that's just ridiculous. Of course, there's a population out there with more money than brains who are gonna copy whatever the pros do no matter how asinine it might be. And some of them are barely smart enough to power half of those units up, much less use seven friggin' graphs in concert to look at fish from every angle, as well as lake maps and gosh knows what else.

However, I might recant if there's any possibility that I could pick up seven college football games at the same time. Be like having my own personal Buffalo Wild Wings out on the lake! 😆😂

I fished Stockton a few weeks ago with my buddy in his Triton Bass boat.  He had 2 Lowrance HDS units, but he never runs them.

I clicked them on and spotted the Shad Balls and had some sense of depth we were fishing in new water to me.  It helps.  But, as in all addictions, there is the overkill.

Totally a different generation. Some of these guys are so tech savvy, they could go to work for Apple, IBM or Dell, and not miss a beat.  And then some of them are J.T. Kenny. 😆

I will flat guarantee you Jacob Wheeler knows what every button or dial does and probably has invented functions that both Lowrance and Garmin had no idea the units would perform.

Skeet is still running 1 unit on the bow and 2 up top and he had his console unit shut off. He has simply caught their rear on a jerk bait. This is a continuation of what he was doing and how he was fishing when the BPT was here earlier.

I like electronic but this seems like an arms race.

Yep and now we have a Space Race too. (Between billionaires)

As much as I hate to admit it, these new electronics are leveling the playing field. After all, the military uses night vision scopes and heat detection goggles for Seal Team 6.

The Denny Brauer’s can still compete well, but they need to learn the new electronics. I suppose now that the old adage “Don’t leave fish to go find fish” has taken on a new meaning. If you’re  in need of a kicker, you might just sit there for hours because you know he’s there.

7 screens will only get you so far these days. You'll also need a AI bot to tie your jigs and knots, weigh your fish  and other tasks while it suggests what lures and colors to use and where to fish.  The bot will also drive  from spot to spot while your hands remain free to update your latest catches to social media in real time, that is if the AI bot hasn't already done that for you. The bot will also park the boat on the trailer for you,and there will be upgrades you can buy to get more robot features such as a drone package. The bot can also fly the drones to spy on your competition,as many as 5 mini drones at once that you can watch while wearing special drone viewing polarized sunglasses.

Over the last couple weeks I've watched every video. Old School Bass Fishing Videos.

This old school is what I like about bass fishing .

Good stuff 24/7.  Being layed up here at the house in a non-walking cast I been watching a lot of videos. Got 10 dozen flies tied so I'm pretty bored.

Been watching planes take off and land with absolutely no help from the pilot. He or she now can just let a navigation computer either take off or land a small plane.
