Lost Humminbird 997c Cover and Brief Fishing Report

Hey all,

I lost my HB 997 cover on the way to the Aunts Creek launch on Monday. Went Hwy 60 in Republic to James River and then down Hwy 13. If anyone finds that needle in a haystack, please PM me. Thanks!

As for the fishing, fished late morning to early evening. Bass were going nuts on main lake points in 15-30 fow. Fished mainly cranks. Also caught occasional walleye, crappie, and three nice cats.

I assume it's not flush-mounted, so you might try putting a bungee around it. Haven't lost one since I started using the bungee. Those covers had to be designed by Trump ... on a day he wasn't busy screwing up something else. 😂

Nope, I have it on good authority that the R&D department at HB are all fully vacinated staunch democrats.  

If you ever doubted it just take a look at their transducer mounts. 🙄  They were designed way before Trump ever grabbed a kooch.

These covers were never meant to be trailered.... they are a dust cover once you get to where  you store your boat. Take them off before you leave the garage....
